Term 3 AP Statistics Project
---- WHEN DONE - CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT WORK -----
For this project, you will be creating 20 new assistment questions within the assistments program.
Project Rules and Expectations:
1) Each project will be a solo or group of 2 students - groups of 3 need to be approved by me.
2) Every project must contain a minimum of 20 questions PER STUDENT (you may have slightly more). Your project MUST be a combination of multiple assistments that have multiple questions. For example: Assisment 1 may have 9 questions, Assistment 2 may have 6 questions, Assistment 3 may have 3 questions, and Assistment 4 may have 2 Questions.
3) (the good news) Below is a collection of questions currently in the STATS4STEM question library. For this project, you DO NOT need to create questions completely from scratch, what you need to do is to choose from the Assistment questions below, then create your own copy of those questions, and use the copy as a template to create your own questions. To clarify, your questions need to be similar but different. The new questions will be identical in scope. However, the questions themselves should be slightly different. For example, you need to change the background of your questions. For example, if the problem pertains to the length of a ruler (for example), you may choose to make your data about the time it takes a random person to complete a test. Then, you will obviously need to change the answer, as well as certain parts of the hints to correspond to your questions. The most time consuming part of making a question is creating the hints. The nice thing is that the hints will already be done for you. You just need to go and change the numbers to reflect your problem.
* One note - no more than 2 ASSISTMENTS (remember, 1 assistment can be multiple questions) per chapter per pair of students. You need to spread your work across multiple chapters.
Below are instructions on how you can create your own new copy from an existing assistment.
